My Christmas Eve and Christmas Dishes 2011
Christmas is getting closer and it's time to start preparing. I've already taken the most important step: planning the menu. The second step is planning the work.

Danish Curry Herring Salad (Karrysild)
A very simple herring salad that comes together really fast. Apple and curry go wonderfully with herring.

Salmon in Aspic
A perfect dish for the holidays that looks beautiful and tastes great. Two kinds of salmon layered with avocado, horseradish and peas.

Pasta and Cauliflower Casserole
A tasty, quick casserole made with just a few ingredients. If you're not afraid of calories, top it with mozzarella. Sliced ham works too.

Celery Root with Thyme
A simple vegetarian dish. Roasted celery root is sweet and tender. It's also a perfect side for mashed potatoes.

Tuna Spread with Olives
The perfect companion for bread. I love all kinds of spreads. They can often be made quickly from simple ingredients.

Fish a la Pizza
Sea bass topped with chorizo, tomatoes, cheese and oregano: a quick, tasty fish dish with pizza flavors that bakes in about 15 minutes.

Mini Hot Dogs
Incredibly simple, cheap and quick. Perfect for nibbling or with a beer, and great for dinner or a kids' party, too.

Königsberg Meatballs in Caper Sauce
Traditional Königsberg meatballs made with ground veal, served in a creamy caper sauce. Great with buckwheat groats, boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes.

Puszta – Hungarian One-Pot Dish
Hungarian puszta: a one-pot cabbage and meat dish with bell peppers and carrots, a bit like bigos, plus a vegetarian version with smoked tofu.

Pork Tenderloin with Apricots
Apricots add freshness and a lightly sweet flavor to pork tenderloin. If you're out of ideas for Sunday dinner, I highly recommend this one.

Chicken Pizza on the Dukan Diet
I decided to “pass on” a recipe for a pizza that is tasty and even tastes a little like traditional pizza.
