After the recipe for delicious bread, it's time for the perfect accompaniment. I love all kinds of bread spreads. They can often be made quickly from simple ingredients.
This tuna spread is, right after the mackerel spread and the salmon rillettes, another fish spread that has caught on in my house. I'm happy to make it, although I admit that tuna doesn't visit my kitchen very often, and when it does, it's either "canned" or in a very small amount that I use for sushi. If you feel like reading a bit about tuna and the environment, head over to Bea's. Thanks to her, I realized that tuna is one of several fish species threatened with extinction, and that dolphins die during tuna fishing, too. For this reason, it's important to pay attention to proper labeling on cans of tuna.
Nevertheless, I recommend this tuna spread :)

tuna spread with olives
The recipe comes from the aforementioned Bea.
Directions:
Drain the tuna and mash it with a fork. Drain the tomatoes and chop them finely. Pit the olives, mix them with the tomatoes, and then blend. Add the tuna and cream cheese, plus a few tablespoons of yogurt to get the right spread consistency. Season to taste.
Enjoy!
