Pora na Pora Event – Round II

A cooking event all about leeks: share your leek recipes and join a collection of dishes from the food blogging community.

Dear friends, it's been almost a year, and it's time for another round of the Pora na Pora event (a Polish pun meaning "time for leeks"). I hope that this year, too, we'll gather lots of interesting and delicious ideas for using this tasty vegetable. You can read about the properties of leeks in my post from last year.

In this post you can see how many wonderful leek dishes we collected together last year.

Here are the rules:

  • We're playing from February 1 to February 14, 2012
  • No recipes from the archive, please
  • You need to publish a recipe that uses leeks. But please choose recipes where the leek is more than just a few slices added to a soup. Try to make it a substantial part of the dish.
  • Please add the event banner below your recipe (you'll find it on Durszlak or Mikser kulinarny) and/or a link to this post.
  • Add your recipe to the event on Durszlak or Mikser kulinarny, OR post a link to your publication in the comments on this post. It would be best to use only one of these methods, which will make putting together the roundup much easier for me.
  • If you add a link in a comment, please also include the name of the dish, which will also make the roundup easier for me.
  • If you don't have a blog, please email me your recipe along with a photo of the dish, or post it on my Facebook page, and I'll include it in the roundup (contact me via the "leave a message" tab on the blog or by email: flowerek at flowerek.com)
