It's hard for me to believe, but very soon, on October 31 – that is, on Halloween – my blog will turn exactly two years old. I admire myself for sticking with it, because there are many things in my life that I started and didn't stay with for very long. The blog still gives me satisfaction, and thanks to it I keep trying to grow as a cook and to take photos that are pleasing to the eye (with mixed results, as you can see :)). All of this is so that you will like it, enjoy the taste, and come back for another recipe, smacking your lips with delight.
Give Away
Well, there will be time for a birthday speech later :) Today, on this very birthday occasion, I would like to offer you a little giveaway. I hope you like it at least a little, even though it's modest. And why now, and why this theme?
As I wrote to you recently, I'm really looking forward to the coming Advent and the holidays, because that's when a huge cookie factory springs up in my house. I bake these cookies mainly to give them as gifts to my loved ones and to people who matter to me. I pack them in cellophane bags, tie them with a ribbon, and hand them over with a smile and the hope of a smile from the person receiving them.
This is what the packages looked like a year ago:

sweet package
I chose this particular set of goodies so that you could put together similar packages, but also have something for yourselves. You can use everything together or completely separately. I know the colors aren't very Christmassy, but I like it when things are colorful :)
Soon it will be time to bake gingerbread cookies, then Advent will come, and probably also my cookie campaign, so besides giving gifts to others, there will be plenty of occasions for baking.
The prize is this (everything is part of one package):
Cellophane bags and gift tags (You can choose bags without Christmas designs instead of the ones shown in the photo.)
Ribbon
Cookie cutters about 6.5 cm:
A 3D standing Christmas tree cookie cutter about 12 cm wide and 8–13 cm tall.
Ornament:
And the hanging stars that you can see in the main photo of this post.
And here's what you need to do to win the Give Away:
- To get one entry in the drawing, leave a comment under this post and like my page “Smaczne przepisy po polsku” on Facebook. Please mention it in your comment.
- Write who you would like to give the sweet packages to.
- To get a second entry, bloggers, please write a short mention of this giveaway on your blog with a link. Non-bloggers, please share this post on your profile. Please also let me know in a comment that you did so.
- Because I'd like to contact the winner right after the drawing, please include your email address in your comment. Anonymous comments will not be taken into account.
- Please also leave just one comment, so I don't have trouble preparing the entries.
- And the last, most important point – I'll be waiting for comments until Wednesday, October 31, 2012, 11:59 PM.
I ship within the European Union.
One more thing: please do not enter the drawing on Facebook.
I hope this little giveaway has tempted you. Fingers crossed!

Wowowow, what lovely prizes! :)
I'd pick the 3D Christmas tree cookie cutter.
I'd like to give them to my friend. She's going through a really hard time in her life, and for a long time I've been trying to make her smile again, to learn to enjoy life and not give up in the face of her illness. I think baking a cookie with such an interesting shape together would definitely lift her spirits – after all, that's what baking together is all about, right? Highlighting the special atmosphere of the holidays, or maybe just the preparations for them… I think this cutter would pass the test with flying colors. '

What a gorgeous decoration on that cookie star :) And the ornament looks amazingly like the ones that hung on the Christmas tree in my childhood home.
Of course I'm getting in line with everyone else. I'd make the first sweet little package for…… myself. Yes, for myself. The days when I got anything are long gone. The other packages would be set out on the table, at the Christmas Eve place settings, one for each member of the family. And Christmas Eve is always at my almost 90-year-old mom's, and there are a lot of us. Children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. It's the only day of the year when the whole family is together. Everybody brings something to put on the table for our shared dinner. Every year it falls to me to make something sweet. And with such wonderful little packages of sweets, everyone could take some home with them.

What beautiful little packages from last year! I have to try making those layered Christmas trees this year, they're really eye-catching. And of course I'm entering the giveaway, no way I'm passing up a chance to win such awesome goodies. I already liked the FB profile too :)
Warmest regards

Little packages like these are a great idea for any occasion. For example, my birthday is on November 1st, so I'm thinking about giving every guest at my birthday party a themed little package. And for the holidays, a good number of my friends, family and neighbors will definitely get one – so everyone knows I'm thinking of them :)
I liked Facebook, of course, and since I like having double the chances, I shared it too. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed for myself! :]
Best wishes

I'd love to hand out little packages like these on Christmas Eve to all the lonely people…
(Like clicked :) if I had a blog, I'd share it there too…)
Thank you, and please also share the post on FB on your profile :) I'm sure everyone would be happy to get a sweet little package :)
Hello. I let people know about it http://nutinkowewypieki.blogspot.com/2012/10/owsianka-z-dzemem-jagodowym.html . I liked it. I'd give them to friends and family. A smile guaranteed. :)

Basia, I found my way here thanks to Krystyna, you write really nicely – which I think is rare on blogs. Yours I actually read, not just look at!!!! A great idea for packaging sweets, and for my daughter, who loves aesthetics – brilliant! Best wishes, Dorota.
Thank you so much for such kind words, and thank you to Krystyna for the recommendation :) Warm regards :)
And I probably wouldn't give them to anyone – they're too pretty to share ;) But seriously, if the holiday spirit had already woken up in me, it would probably be my girlfriends, who always get homemade holiday gifts from me :) A little tradition of ours :)
Delicious regards, DD
I'm delighted with this blog. I'll definitely use more than one recipe and I'll be stopping by often. The prizes are lovely.
And I'd give the gift to my little daughter.
I found the blog thanks to Krysia.
Warmest regards, and I wish you as many interesting posts as possible.

I'd definitely give the sweet gift to my boyfriend, because I've already made sweets for him more than once for different occasions and he loved them :)
