I hope you'll forgive my silence, but a lot has been going on in my life lately. A move got tangled into my life, and everything has to be organized in a rush. I don't want to leave you with nothing, though, so I'll try to publish a tasty recipe from time to time, whenever I can. I promise that as soon as I get everything sorted out, there will be more, and more often :)
This pumpernickel and salmon appetizer is simple and quick to make. It's perfect for nibbling, for example with a nice glass of wine, but your guests will love it too.
Pumpernickel and salmon appetizer
I used sandwich cheese spread that I mixed with herbs, but you can also use a ready-made herb cheese spread to make it even faster.
Instructions – pumpernickel and salmon appetizer:
Wash the herbs and chop them finely, then mix them with the cheese spread. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if needed. Cut the pumpernickel slices in half or into quarters and spread them with the cheese. Place a second slice of bread on top and spread with cheese again. Decorate with slices of salmon and caviar, and serve.
Enjoy!
