Hello everyone, still in moving mode. It feels like this will never end. Still, I'm already moved in with one foot. The other one arrives on Sunday, and then the unpacking begins.
Spring is on its way, but it just can't seem to break through the cold. It's still unpleasant at times, and I keep looking for ways to warm up. This time I warmed up with goulash soup. I just felt like having something hearty.
Goulash soup
How to make it - goulash soup:
Cut the onion into small cubes. Wash and dry the meat and also cut it into small cubes. Heat the fat in a pot, sauté the onion with the pressed garlic, add the meat and cook until the meat changes color. Add the diced carrots, celery root and leek and cook for a few minutes, stirring. Season with salt and pepper, add both kinds of paprika, pour in the water, and add the allspice and bay leaves. Cook until the vegetables are soft, then mix a few tablespoons of tomato puree in a small bowl and pour it into the soup.
Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes and add them to the soup. Wash the bell peppers, cut them into cubes and add them to the soup as well. When the potatoes are soft, season the soup to taste. Add the corn 5 minutes before the end of cooking, and serve.
Enjoy!
