I can't even call today's idea a recipe. It's more of a way to… It's also a way of dressing up hot dogs that has been circulating on the internet for a long time and is well known, but it just had to show up on my blog too. Louisa and Gabriela were thrilled with these hot dogs and decided on their own to get them ready for the photo shoot :)

You can replace the hot dogs with other sausages, and the puff pastry with sliced cheese (in that case, don't bake them) or with strips of crepe. You can also swap the puff pastry for yeast dough. The dough from my mini hot dogs would be perfect for this.

How to make mummy hot dogs for Halloween:

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Cut the puff pastry into strips and wrap them around the hot dogs. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, but be careful that the hot dogs don't start to split. Take them out and serve.

Enjoy!

Pardon me, but this looks like a fetus after an abortion, and the ketchup looks eerily like the remains of an umbilical cord.

Of course I forgive you. On Halloween, every association is allowed, even the most terrifying ones.
