spinach and chicken crepes
How to make spinach and chicken crepes:
For the crepes, lightly beat the eggs, add half of the flour and beat until everything is combined. Add the remaining flour and stir until you get a smooth cream. Stirring constantly, add the milk a little at a time and mix until you have a smooth batter. Set aside for about 30 minutes. If any lumps form, you can pour the batter through a sieve.
Heat a pan, grease it lightly with fat and fry the crepes.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) (180°C/355°F if using convection).
In a small amount of fat, sauté the onion, add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper and cook until the chicken is done but not browned. Set aside to cool. Alternatively, you can simmer the chicken with a little water. It will be even more tender.
Mix the remaining ingredients from the list, season with salt and pepper and stir in the cooked chicken.
Spoon the filling onto the crepes (spread it down the middle), fold the left and right sides of each crepe toward the center, and then roll the crepes up.
Place the crepes snugly in a baking dish, seam side down.
Mix the cheese with the cream and spread it over the crepes. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown. Serve while still hot.
Enjoy!

I'm planning to make them today. They look wonderful, and they probably taste wonderful too, I'll just use whole wheat flour instead of regular flour :) Great website, it gives so many new possibilities in the kitchen. Greetings
Thank you very much. That's so nice of you :) Enjoy your meal, and I'm looking forward to a few words on how they tasted :)
They tasted amazing, curry with spinach is a great combination, I have to admit it was my first time trying it. My fiancé was happy with the dinner, he said he got properly full :) . The crepes are very tasty and filling. I'll definitely make them again. I'll definitely try your other recipes on this site too, because they look just as delicious as these crepes Warm regards
Thank you for the feedback :) I'm glad you liked them, and I invite you to try more recipes :)
These crepes are delicious. This is already another recipe I've tried and it's amazing. I can't wait to try more of your treats :)
I'm glad you liked them. I invite you to try more dishes :)
I made these crepes today and they turned out delicious! I just used a lot more spinach, because everyone at my house is a spinach-eater ;) Greetings, and I'm looking forward to more spinach recipes!
…and four more cloves of garlic in the filling :)
I'm glad you liked them. It was probably very garlicky, but I like it that way too :) I'll try to come up with more spinach recipes, and in the meantime I recommend the spinach cannelloni http://flowerek.com/warzywa/cannelloni-z-nadzieniem-szpinakowo-serowym/
Basia, this dish literally melts in your mouth. I also have two kids and I have to work hard to feed them healthy food. Kids are the most demanding customers of our home kitchen. But with this dish I hit the bullseye. The crepes disappeared, and my 5-year-old daughter asked for them both for dinner and for the next day. Thank you for this recipe. And please give us more. I love your blog, the recipes are easy and fit every budget. In a few weeks my son has his communion and I keep fine-tuning the menu, could you recommend something? A reply to my email address would be welcome. Greetings, Monika
Thank you so much for such kind words :) My kids like these crepes too :) As for the communion menu, I'd be happy to help. I'll get in touch by email soon.
I'm just starting out with my cooking and I have a question about the broth: what's the easiest way to make it, or can it be replaced with something?
It's best to make the broth yourself, and it's not complicated. Any extra can be strained and frozen (e.g. in ice cube bags). I posted a recipe for a simple broth here: http://flowerek.com/roznosci/produkty-podstawowe/wywar-do-zupy/ Enjoy! :)
Wow, really juicy! And my kids even devoured them, even though they've always refused spinach :)
They look really great and I'm making them right now, but what temp.. do I bake them at…??
I hope you liked them. Bake them at 180 degrees.
My daughter made these crepes. INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. HEAVEN IN YOUR MOUTH.
I have a huge smile on my face right now that they tasted so good. Thank you for the comment :)
I recently had spinach crepes at one of the crepe places and they were great :) Thank you for the recipe, now I'll be able to make them at home myself :)
