M. recently made me very happy with a lovely surprise: a new English issue of "Jamie" magazine, which I adore. I don't think there's a single issue of this magazine where I haven't tried at least one recipe. The July issue is all about eating outdoors, grilling and enjoying the good weather.
Today's light Spanish-style salad fits right in. Just as the name says, it's light, aromatic, easy to make and perfect for enjoying while chatting outdoors.
Light Spanish-Style Salad
Directions - Light Spanish-Style Salad:
Mix all the sauce ingredients together.
Tear the ham into pieces, shave the cheese into thin slices, drain the peppers and eggplant and cut them into strips, and wash the lettuce and tear it into not-too-small pieces. Toss all the ingredients together, combine with the sauce and serve.
Enjoy!
