I'm not a big fan of popcorn. It's boring and it's always stuck between your teeth. When I still lived in Poland, I only ever made salted popcorn. It wasn't until I got to Germany that I met sweet popcorn, which I couldn't warm up to for a long time. Recently Gabriela brought home a bag of chocolate popcorn from some fair, and I couldn't keep my hands off it. I ate the whole bag meant for my kid and promised her I'd make more. So here it is, chocolate popcorn:
chocolate popcorn
Instructions – Chocolate Popcorn:
Heat the oil in a large skillet and make the popcorn, that is, heat the kernels with the lid on until the popcorn stops "popping."
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler (water bath) and pour it over the popcorn. Mix thoroughly and spread it out flat on a baking sheet. Set it in the coolest place you can find until the chocolate hardens.
Enjoy!
