Ingredients

I actually wasn't planning to write anything else before the holidays, but I just couldn't help myself. Right now I'm sitting in a comfy armchair in excellent company, the fireplace is wonderfully warm, there's a snowstorm outside, and I'm sipping something very warming and very good.

I suggest you get some rum, white wine, a few extras, punch cups, and something comfortable to sit on and relax.

The recipe is inspired by a Christmas supplement to "Gazeta" by M. Kuroń. I mainly reduced the amount of sugar.

punch

Directions:

Cut the pineapple into cubes, place them on the bottom of a punch bowl, pour the arak or rum over them, and set aside. Pour the wine, tea and pineapple juice into a pot. Add the vanilla bean cut into pieces, stir in the sugar, and slowly heat over low heat. When the wine starts to boil, remove the pot from the burner, add the lemon zest (and the juice, if using), and stir. Pour into the bowl with the pineapple and serve hot in punch cups.

Enjoy!
