I'm so happy that I finally managed to sit down at the computer and write a post for you in peace. Unfortunately, my schedule has been crazy full lately, and I've had to give up some things. That also means the blog gets whatever moments I can find to rest. But I do have a solid, tasty, chocolatey recipe for you, and I hope it will motivate you to bake. This cake goes a long way, because even a small slice is enough to satisfy a chocolate craving.

Chocolate Plum Tart
Since the moment I baked it, this chocolate plum tart has been a must in the fall season. I think it was the first time I'd combined chocolate with plums (chocolate-covered plums immediately come to mind, mmmm), and I'm delighted with the combination. I found the recipe in the Swiss magazine "Le Menu", which surprised me with its wonderful recipes.
Instructions – Chocolate Plum Tart:
Mix the flour, cocoa, salt and sugar, add the chopped butter and work it in until the mixture just forms crumbs. Add the egg yolks and cream and quickly form a dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Grease a round 26 cm pan with butter and dust it with flour. Roll the dough out to 2-3 cm and line the pan with it, then put it in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Take it out and set aside to cool slightly.
Meanwhile, melt the butter and chocolate in a small pot and let it cool a bit. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until pale and fluffy, then mix with the chocolate. Add the sifted flour, potato starch and baking powder and mix well. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then fold them thoroughly but quickly into the flour mixture. Pour the batter onto the partially baked crust. Wash the plums, pit them and cut them in half. Arrange them in a circle on the batter.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F), place the tart on the lower rack and bake for about 25-30 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
Enjoy!
