## Ingredients

- ½ fresh chili
- ginger, about a 3 cm piece
- miso powder (1 heaped tsp) or miso paste (1 tbsp)
- ½ bunch fresh cilantro
- ½ lemon
- 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 heaped tsp liquid honey
- 200 g sugar snap peas (or green beans)
- 200 g broccolini
- 300 g asparagus
- 1 lime

## Instructions

Time for the second part of the recipe for a dish by Jamie Oliver. Recently you had a chance to read about [salmon in green tea with coconut rice](https://flowers-recipes.com/green-tea-salmon-with-coconut-rice/), and today it's the vegetables that go perfectly as a side dish with it.

Jamie used broccolini for this dish, so that's what I list in the recipe. It's a vegetable that looks like broccoli, but it's smaller and has a longer stem. I skipped it and used Swiss chard leaves instead. As you can see, you can experiment a bit with the vegetables when you don't have the ones from the recipe on hand. I recommend it.

Miso vegetables

## Instructions – Miso Vegetables:

Slice the chili and peel the ginger. Blend them until smooth with the miso powder, cilantro, lemon juice, soy sauce, honey and about 1 tbsp water. Pour a little water into a skillet, add the sugar snap peas, the cleaned and roughly cut broccoli and asparagus, add salt and cook until the vegetables are tender.

Pour the sauce onto a platter, arrange the vegetables on top, sprinkle with lime juice if you like, and serve with [salmon in green tea with coconut rice](https://flowers-recipes.com/green-tea-salmon-with-coconut-rice/).

Enjoy!

Looks delicious, but what is miso?

Miso is a Japanese paste made from fermented soybeans. It's the base for a lot of dishes in Japanese cuisine.
