## Ingredients

- 6 chicken drumsticks
- 6 tsp honey
- 4 tsp soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 pinch ground hot paprika
- 1 lemon
- 1 kg baby potatoes
- 3-4 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 sprigs rosemary
- pepper
- salt

## Instructions

In this kind of heat, I just don't feel like cooking. I have absolutely no desire to stand over pots and slave away. So I try to choose dishes that don't take much effort or hovering over the stove. Most of the time I send M. off to the grill, or I turn on the oven and run out of the kitchen.

Honey chicken is one of those dishes that practically makes itself. Just put the ingredients in the oven and wait. A [cucumber salad with feta](https://flowers-recipes.com/cucumber-salad-with-feta/) is a perfect side for this dish.

## Instructions – Honey Chicken:

Wash the chicken and pat it dry. In a bowl, mix 5-6 tbsp of honey, the soy sauce and the ground paprika. Add the sliced garlic clove and the juice of half a lemon, and stir. Add the meat, mix thoroughly and put it in the fridge for 20 minutes. After that time, arrange the chicken in a baking dish, pour the marinade over it and add the remaining lemon half.

Wash the potatoes, cut them in half and transfer them to a baking dish. Add 2 sliced garlic cloves, season with paprika, salt and pepper, and toss with 3-4 tbsp of olive oil. Add a few sprigs of rosemary.

Put both dishes into an oven preheated to 170°C (340°F) (top and bottom heat). Bake for about 40 minutes, keeping an eye on the potatoes so they don't brown too much. Or, take the potatoes out earlier, cover them with aluminum foil, and keep baking the chicken at a higher temperature.

Enjoy!
