## Ingredients

**For the ice cream:**

- 250 ml milk
- 120 g milk powder (fine, not granulated)
- 400 ml heavy cream
- about 70-80 g sugar (may be more or less, depending on how sweet the milk powder is)
- 100 g chocolate cookies

**For the sauce:**

- 100 g dark chocolate
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 100 ml heavy cream

## Instructions

My kids could eat ice cream every day. It doesn't matter whether it's summer or winter. On hot days I can hardly keep up with making it. This time I decided on a creamy milk powder ice cream with cookies and chocolate sauce, to use up some leftovers. I loved this kind of ice cream as a child and was so excited about it. Unfortunately, it didn't wow me, but the kids and my husband really liked it. If you love the taste of milk powder, it will be perfect for you. This is a basic recipe that you can customize with, for example, frozen strawberry puree, vanilla (like mine in the photo) or chocolate. I made mine with chocolate cookies, which I crumbled into the ice cream mixture.

## Directions – Milk Powder Ice Cream with Cookies:

Put the milk powder, milk, cream and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer and mix well. Refrigerate the mixture for at least an hour, or even better, overnight. Crumble some of the cookies, stir them into the mixture and put it straight into the ice cream maker. To make the sauce, melt the chocolate with the sugar and butter over a double boiler, then mix in the cream. Let it cool. Serve the ice cream with crumbled cookies and chocolate sauce.

Enjoy!
