## Ingredients

- ½ cup ice
- 1 level tsp matcha powder
- 2 cm piece of fresh ginger root, peeled
- about 1 tbsp honey
- about ¼ cup milk
- lime juice

## Instructions

I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but here it's nice and warm, and everyone is looking for something cold to eat or drink to make the day a little more pleasant.

Unfortunately, I'm still in bed, nursing myself back to health before I start my new job tomorrow, but the rest of the family is treating themselves to ice cream. M. also enjoyed a cooling matcha and ginger drink.

If you know the taste of matcha, there won't be any surprises here. To soften its distinctive flavor, I added a little milk. Once everything was blended together, I ended up with an interesting, very bold, and unusual-tasting sorbet that is wonderfully refreshing on hot days.

## Instructions – Cooling Matcha and Ginger Drink:

Blend the ice, matcha, grated ginger, milk, and honey on high speed and pour into a cold glass. Add lime juice to taste and, if you like, more milk and honey. Serve with a slice of lime.

Enjoy!
