## Ingredients

- 200 g semolina
- 800 ml milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 5 tbsp sugar
- zest of ½ lemon or vanilla sugar
- 2-3 eggs
- pinch of salt
- butter for greasing the baking dish

## Instructions

Today I'm offering you something sweet, but not a cake. It's a small dish that can be made for breakfast or supper. Maybe even for dessert… It's meant more for kids, but adults will enjoy it too. A little alternative to classic semolina porridge made with milk :)

I found the recipe on a box of semolina ;)

baked semolina casserole

**Instructions:**

Heat the milk, butter and salt. Add the semolina and, stirring constantly, cook until you have a thick porridge, then let it cool. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Beat the egg yolks and sugar until fluffy and add them to the porridge. Beat the egg whites and gently fold them into the porridge as well. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter and spread the mixture in it. Bake for about 30 minutes, until the top turns a beautiful golden color.

Enjoy!
